Jen Augustine has a significant track record of advising senior management on a broad range of critical legal issues and strategic and operational matters, both in-house and as outside counsel. Able to develop strong trusting relationships with business unit leaders and senior management by counseling how best to reach business goals within legal limitations.

Missouri and Kansas

Jen spent many years as Managing Counsel for one of the largest full-service restaurant companies, supporting the marketing and advertising departments, domestic and international franchising, contracts, corporate governance and trademarks. Prior to that, she was in-house at a multi-billion dollar wholesale grocery distributor, supporting mergers and acquisitions, litigation, employment and traditional labor, contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, trademarks and benefits.  Jen’s first in-house job was with an international real estate brokerage franchisor where she advised on franchising, corporate governance, marketing and trademarks, employment, contracts, regulatory matters and litigation She began her career as an associate in the business section at a large Kansas City-based law firm. She has also taught English and Literature at the college level.
